Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis Missouri where she sang at The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia awarded her an undergraduate degree in Theater and Communications. Her career began as a performer in Los Angeles as a theater performer and choreographer, choreographing more than 20 musicals and plays. They included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan and The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera's The Musical Peter Pan. She also performed seven titles at Los Angeles' Storybook Theatre. Kelly began landing television and film roles as she continued to study in improvisation and in the group The Groundlings. She also became a member of Theatre West. She has a unique voice and her small size allows her to perform a range of roles. She's best known as Naomi Watts's scheming Samara from The Ring 2, but her best-known character is as the fun receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly played the role of an attorney and a party animal on TV The Land's The Exes as a series regular between 2011 and 2015. Kelly also appeared as Alyssa's charming, smart sister on the ABC show Romantically Challenged and as the stressed-out suburban mom in the CW series No Tomorrow. The soprano voice of hers has been heard in numerous cartoons like Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. The most recent appearance was as the dim and lovable Cloud 9 staffer on NBC hit comedy Superstore. The couple has two kids, and lives in a quiet house. She loves to write, sew and volunteer in schools.
