American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her acting career began as a supporting actress in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). Then, she took on the character as reporter Willa McPherson on the series of FX Dirt. She also had an appearance as a support character on FX's short-lived show The Ex List. She was Kaylee who was a young Moira on the first season FX's American Horror Story. She played Jessie Anderson's character in the AMC series The Walking Dead. Sophie played her character in the NBC show This Is Us. She is a voice actor on Family Guy, an animated comedy. She is currently voiced by Melinda "Mel" Monroe, a character on Netflix's show Virgin River. Breckenridge lived in Darien, Connecticut, until the age of 10, when she and her mom moved to California. went through a few different places before settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge started to be fascinated by photography, acting and singing when she was 13. Breckenridge moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 15 years old, to pursue a career in acting.
